Based on the occurrence conditions and the consistency of the mineral quality, the Symonivske granite deposit belongs to Group I of complexity according to the classification of solid mineral reserves and forecasted resources. The decorative properties, according to the conclusion of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor M.T. Bakk, are classified as Class II and recognized as decorative.

"Kamiane Suziria" (“Stone Constellation”) is a company that owns and operates two quarries — Symonyv Deposit and Dobrynske-1 Deposit, where three types of natural stone are extracted.

Application

Granite is used for:

  • exterior and interior wall cladding, plinths, parapets;

  • manufacturing of steps, curbs, paving slabs, and decorative architectural elements.

Due to its high decorative and artistic qualities, Symonyv granite meets modern architectural requirements.
It has excellent polishing properties, achieves a mirror-like surface, and is classified as a decorative granite.

Radiation Safety

Natural background radiation levels:

  • Grey porphyritic granites: 16–40 µR/h

  • Red granites: 28–60 µR/h

According to X-ray spectral analysis, the natural radioactivity is 114–287 Bq/kg, which meets the RSN 356-91 requirements for Class I building materials.
The stone fully complies with DBN B.1.4-1.01-97 “System of norms and rules for reducing the level of natural ionizing radiation in construction”.
Radiation certificates and test reports are provided.
